If India has a decent resource of Uranium in its own ground, then still going abroad and striking deals and shaking hands with capitalists makes no sense to me. Either they fear that their own resources will be used up to soon so they want to finish up the resources of America and then use their own uranium towards the end, or they are just plain fools who dont even have the time to look in their own backyard for what they have and what they dont. 1 lakh tonnes should be sufficient for quite a number of years. The worse part is that even though we have thr funding and the resource, we still dont want to bring these resources to their optimum utilization. It is a sad fact that the Indian government loves to scout for a cure rather than work towards a prevention. Mr. Manmohan Singh, please start using head of yours independently and stop hearing what ”others” tell you to do.

Its hard to figure out why India would go to such lengths for seeking nuclear supplies from America and other nations when it is supposedly sitting on a stockpile of uranium mineral.
Then the case should be that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is a fool and does not know what lies in his backyard or the Nuclear Mining agencies are hiding behind incompetence and depriving the nation of much needed supplies.
